From the very beginning, he wants to ensure the factory automation, quality production, healthy environment, effective internal & external communication, promising performance, ongoing fashion trends and at last but not least to contribute to environment friendly product. Due to continuous rise of worldwide awareness regarding environmental friendly product demand of jute based product is increasing day by day and due to this our company has set up a Jute based Shoe Manufacturing Unit. The company plans to produces a wide range of high-quality shoes. We have state of the art technology, specializing in the manufacturer of the Basic espadrille, Jute braid and Jute sole. In addition, due to the popular demand, we have expanded our line of production to Fashion espadrilles. Dedication, authenticity and relentless work effort on a continuous basis, will make our company to stand out in the Espadrilles market. Production and Manufacturing
NS Footwear Limited has established manufacturing plant with a capacity to produce 3000 pair’s espadrilles per day currently.
Spinning machines bring strands of recycled fibers and jute thread into a braid. This rope is used throughout the village by the artisans and is tough enough for shoe soles but soft enough to be comfortable.
Espadrille craftsman curls the braided rope into the typical hourglass shape of an espadrille sole using his hand-operated turntable. he stitches the sole together using sisal thread and an oversized needle to prevent unraveling.
In the old days, the soles of the espadrilles were only made of rope. Since the 40s a fine layer of natural rubber has been added to the bottom of the soles to make them more durable. Our soles are heat pressed in a metal mold by melting vulcanized natural rubber onto the rope sole without the use of any glue or chemicals.
The cotton canvas is manufactured for the quality and singular beauty of its traditional weaving of the upper. This highly complex procedure involves hundreds of dyed colorful threads that are woven together on a loom, creating a beautifully designed canvas, perfectly customized to make the uppers of the espadrilles.
All of our espadrilles uppers are cut out and prepared by the skilled master tailor. Depending on whether he is working with cotton, leather or silk, he will chose different cutters and standardize his press according to the material and desired size. This procedure is a core skill of the production of traditional espadrilles.
Usually, most of the works for espadrilles are done by manually. The last and most important step is where true magic happens through the skilled hands of the seamstresses of the Factory. Where we trained the seamstresses to skillfully sewing the fabric onto the rope soles with even stitches and finishing with an embroidery at the front of the shoe.
